For those wanting to enjoy a chilled stay without having to keep their dogs on a lead outside their caravans or motorhomes, we have built 3 fully-enclosed dog pitches on the Old Farm Stack Yard. These are totally enclosed areas fenced around with close-boarded fencing 1300mm high. There are two gates at the front that open giving a 6m wide entrance on arrival to back onto a 9m x 4m hard standing which is surrounded by grass, giving a total enclosed area12m deep x approx 12m. Once inside the gates, the gates are closed and the towing vehicle or tow car is parked on the lay-by outsideand the pitch is accessed through the 1200mm wide hand gate.
